Business and enterprise software, and other applications that help a business run

In the upcoming release of Word 2007, Microsoft is going to add Blogging tools.  I hope this is far better than Microsoft's export to HTML.  Have you used that feature?  The code is very long and not very friendly.  I just hope when Microsoft means blogging tools that they don't mean a fancier Copy and Paste function.  I also hope Microsoft doesn't only stick to their new Microsoft live service.  Although it wouldn't surprise me if they did.  Apple's iWeb application makes it very easy to post to Apple's .Mac account but makes it harder to post to a regular FTP account.

If Microsoft add functions so the Word can connect to blogger.com or a Word Press site than I might consider using Word again.  I honestly only use Word to open attachments from colleagues and friends.  Now don't think I don't like Microsoft Office applications at all, because I love Excel and Access.  It is just for a word processor, I use Apple's Pages program to do all my handouts and documentation.  So maybe these blogging tools will encourage people to try use Word in a new way.
