Business and enterprise software, and other applications that help a business run

Before when a company needed an invoice I would go into Microsoft Word and make a quick invoice using one of Word's templates.  Now I use Blinksale.com. Blinksale.com is the perfect example of a Web 2.0 software.  It allows you to control your invoices from a simple web browser.  So you can be on Linux, Windows or Macintosh and it would all be the same.

Blinksale offers 4 main plans to choose from:  Platinum; Gold; Silver and Free.  Each plan depends on how many invoices you will be sending out a month.  You can have unlimited clients and unlimited employees that you can create sub accounts for.  When you pay for Platinum, Gold or Silver you also get secure SSL data encryption.

Like most Web 2.0 products the GUI (graphical user interface) gorgeous and easy to use.  The main page at Blinksale is the Dashboard.  The Dashboard allows you to create invoices, clients and see all your current business activity.  It is extremely easy to create new clients and invoices, although you will need to play around with the Blinksale to understand all their vocabulary for other functions.

The good thing about Blinksale is that it is all online, and it is very easy to use.  Blinksale also offers you a way to export all your financial data to Microsoft Excel.  The bad thing is it is all on the Internet.  If you need to create an invoice, you have to be online.  Another bad thing is that if you are currently using another software product for invoices, you have to manually type each client into the Blinksale database.  If you are an Internet based business or a small business I recommend this product for you.
